Trojans rally to tie Broughton; Tennis sweeps W.Brunswick

Xavier Bussey bases-loaded triple completes the Garner baseball comeback to tie Broughton 9-9. The Trojans fall behind 9-2 in the 2nd. Six unearned Caps runs put the good guys in a hole in the home opener. But Malik Stephens RBI starts the comeback, with Nolan McLean 2-RBI knock makes it 9-5 after two complete. After Chris Roddenberry scoreless third, Noah Giroux leadoff walk, steals 2nd and advances to third on Caps throw & scores on Ryan Wheeler infield hit to make it 9-6. Garner loads the bases on Caps walks to Noah Kieft, Malik Stephens and McLean sets up Bussey clutch hit to tie it 9-9.  A brutal wind, bitter cold and dimming light calls the game after McLean blitzes the Caps with 3Ks in their 5th and Garner fails to score in their half. The Trojans head to Cleveland Monday for 4PM contest
