Trojans roll into Holiday Tournament finals

Alex Reed 21 points, 10 rebounds and front court mate KD Burt 22 with 8 boards over powers Cox Mill 77-58 to advance to the finals of The John Wall Holiday Invitational. Garner starts fast, similar to their opener but fails to trail by less than 10 en route to the semifinal win. Demetric Horton and Trayvon Ferrell each scored 11 points. JV Trojans earn 3rd straight Holiday Tournament final
JV TrojansĀ make it 52 straight with a 71-45 drubbing of Millbrook. Garner (10-0) ousts the Wildcats for the third straight year in the Athens Drive JV Holiday Tournament. Daiveon Dunn leads Garner with 17, Daiveon Carrington has 13 with team-high 8 rebounds and Garrett Capaforte pumps in 11. The JV Trojans own the boards with huge 28-14 margin and shoot a blistering 62% while holding the Wildcats to just 46% and forcing 18 turnovers. Coach Bloms’ squad who will face Athens Drive Thursday night 7:15PM in the finals. JV Jags down Broughton with an incredible 22-point comeback in the 2nd half for the 62-57 win.
