Tennis splits GNRC matches; Softball drops non-conference game

Haleigh Joyner 3RBI & Kira Jackson knocks in two for Garner softball who drop 11-6 decision to Holly Springs. The Hawks get 3 runs in the 5th & 6th and tack on two in their 7th for the comeback win over the Lady Trojans (3-1). Sam Weidner records 4Ks in her 5.1 inning start. Sam Armstrong records an RBI for the Trojans who open GNRC play at SE Raleigh March 14th 4PM

Trojan lacrosse edged by Panther Creek
Bailey Benjamin records second half hat trick and Eli Bridges scores twice in the first half in Garner 8-6 loss to Panther Creek. Spencer Stephenson is stellar in goal against the potent Catamount offense, stopping 18 of 26 shots with 9 saves. Cameron Hollingsworth records a goal and wins 8 of his 11 faceoffs for the Trojans. The JV Trojans open their season at S.Garner Field with 13-5 loss to the JV Catamounts.
