Jones, Josey homers lead Trojan sweep at EWake

Cody Jones blast 2nd inning grand slam leads Garner baseball to 14-4 win at E. Wake. JD Kennovin gets the win in his 4 inning start with plenty of Trojan offense. Jones adds two more RBI for 6 on the night for the newly minted Tennessee Wesleyan commit. Noah Gallogly 3 RBI, and RBI from Trevor Blalock (2), Wellington Guzman, Jack Elliott (2) Noah Kieft as the Trojans improve to 3-0 in the GNRC. Xavier Bussey, who has a stellar game in left field with 3 nice catches, opens the Trojans 2nd with a single that starts 7-run inning as they send 12 batters to the dish, including Jones big fly. Chris Roddenberry pitches 3 innings of scoreless relief.

Alisha Josey solo homer stakes Garner softball to 1-0 lead and 13 batter, 9-run 4th blows the game open in the Lady Trojans 14-0 win at E.Wake. Josey, Haley Joyner, Libby Bynum, Krissy D’Arco, Sydney Jones, Kira Jackson, Sam Armstrong double, & Kari Sutton record hits in Garner 4th to improve to 3-0 in the GNRC.

Varsity soccer blasts SE Raleigh 9-0 at beautiful Trojan Stadium.  Grace Bondurant tallies 4 goals, Kasey Adams with 2, Sarah Dancausse, Lily Schild, and Maddie Mingia with 1 each for Garner who improves to 3-0 in the GNRC. Monday the Trojans shutout Harnett Central 5-0 with Bondurant recording a hat trick, Adams added a goal and Dancausse a goal and 3 assists
