The Garner Educational Foundation awarded their 2017 Scholarships: Susie Knabe received the Mayor of Garner Educational Scholarship, given to a student who intends to pursue a career in education. Garner honors 2017 Hall of Fame Class

The Trojans gathered to honor the newest Hall of Fame Class: 3-time CFL All-Star Brandon Banks (’06), US Paralympic Swim team member and 4-time medalist Tucker Dupree (’07), two-sport star and Coach Mickey Faulk (’60), and two-sport athlete and professional sports psychologist and author Dr. Shaun Tyrance (’96). Shepherd inducted in the UNC Wilmington Hall of Fame

Congratulations Jaraea Shepherd (’05) inducted into the UNC Wilmington Track Hall of Fame. The elite athlete still holds the Seahawks hammer throw record and ranks second on the all-time discus and shot put best marks.
